Job summary

United Church Homes seeks a Maintenance worker for Cherry Arbors to maintain property, complete work orders, and troubleshoot appliances. The role requires basic maintenance knowledge, strong organizational skills, and the ability to prepare units for new residents. On-call evenings and weekends may be required.

Responsibilities include groundskeeping, cleaning, and coordinating with the Housing Manager to ensure safety and quality of living spaces for residents.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• One year or more of related maintenance experience.
• Must have or obtain driver’s license and be able to travel between locations if needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all areas of the property and surroundings in a professional manner.
• Complete work orders, troubleshoot appliances, and coordinate with Housing Manager.
• Perform daily cleaning, groundskeeping, and basic repairs as needed.
• Prepare vacant units for new residents and assist with annual inspections.
• On-call for emergency situations and coordinate with vendors.
