Job summary

Atria Senior Living, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our Knoxville community. You will prepare move-in ready apartments, address maintenance requests, and perform routine preventative tasks to keep the property in top condition.

The role requires hands-on maintenance experience in multiple trades,. You will work on diverse tasks, potentially drive a company vehicle, and participate in safety programs and inspections.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years hands-on maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry or HVAC.
• Three years of multi-family property management or other building maintenance preferred.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and measurements for estimates and calculations.
• Valid driver’s license and compliance with company vehicle policy.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing all move in ready apartments, including painting, carpet cleaning and housekeeping.
• Manage maintenance needs to meet company standards.
• Perform preventative maintenance and data collection submission.
• Handle customer service requests via the work order system.
• Conduct daily community inspections and keep grounds clean.
• Perform various maintenance tasks including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and related repairs.
• Monitor mechanical equipment and safety systems within the community.
• Coordinate with contractors/subcontractors as required.
• Organize maintenance storage and rooms.
• Ensure proper use of tools and vehicles and compliance with laws.
