Job summary

Millennium Towne Center Apartments in Baton Rouge, LA seeks a full-time Maintenance Technician to preserve the community’s safety and quality. You will perform general repairs in apartments and common areas, prep vacants, handle trash, and manage preventive maintenance records.

Candidates should have hands-on trade skills (plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC) and be willing to travel for parts. Tools must be provided by the applicant. Drug and background screening are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in property maintenance or equivalent fieldwork.
• Must furnish own tools and have transportation to source parts.
• HVAC certified; CAMT/CPO/CFC-EP A certifications preferred.
• OSHA guidelines knowledge and adherence expected.

Responsibilities

• Address resident service and maintenance requests promptly.
• Communicate status of service requests to residents to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain property by completing make-ready repairs and routine maintenance.
• Keep records for preventive maintenance, expenditures, and work in progress.
• Rake, sweep, and maintain property grounds as needed.
