Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring buildings and common areas meet safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include processing work orders, make-ready preparations for vacant units, inventory management, documentation, grounds maintenance, and cost-control practices.

Required EPA refrigerant certifications (Type I/II or Universal) and a valid driver's license for golf-cart operation where applicable.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type I and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property, if applicable.
• All other state and local jurisdiction certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and preventative maintenance per policies and code.
• Prepare vacant units via make-ready process and inspections.
• Manage materials, supplies, and notify re-order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and timely.
• Maintain grounds, common areas and amenities.
• Support cost-cutting by repairing rather than replacing parts.
• Conduct routine property inspections to identify safety concerns.
