Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform preventative maintenance, diagnose and repair building systems, and prepare vacant apartments for leasing. The role involves completing work orders, coordinating with vendors, and documenting tasks to ensure safety and quality across the property.

You will follow OSHA and safety training, assist in inspections, manage inventory, and support grounds upkeep.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property if applicable.
• Experience with maintenance tasks and using tools is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and preventative maintenance repairs.
• Complete the make-ready process for vacant apartments and coordinate with vendors.
• Track inventory, obtain supplies, and re-order as needed.
• Document service requests accurately for record-keeping.
• Assist in grounds maintenance and preventive upkeep of amenities.
• Support cost-saving by repairing rather than replacing parts where feasible.
