Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring physical aspects of buildings meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. Responsibilities include handling work orders, preventive maintenance, make-ready processes for vacant units, inventory management, and documenting requests.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver’s license for property operations, and a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends,

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.
• State and local certifications as required for maintenance roles.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and preventative maintenance per policies, safety standards, and codes.
• Perform make-ready procedures to prepare vacant units, including inspections and punch lists.
• Track inventory, secure materials from the maintenance department, and notify on reordering needs.
• Document service requests accurately for timely tracking and reporting.
• Maintain grounds and common areas, perform cleaning, painting curbs and signage as needed.
• Support cost-saving by repairing parts when possible and using tools correctly.
