Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician 3 to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring property buildings, grounds, and amenities meet company standards for safety and appearance.

Responsibilities include handling work orders, make-ready tasks, inventory control, documentation, and routine inspections while adhering to safety policies and OSHA requirements. This role requires EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver's license, with potential for bonuses on onsite positions.

Qualifications

• Incumbents must have EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Incumbents must have all certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions.
• Incumbents must have valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property depending on the property size, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing and move-ins.
• Follows procedures to obtain materials and tracks inventory; notifies for re-orders.
• Completes documentation to record service requests and actions.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities; performs cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-cutting by fixing parts rather than replacing when possible.
