Job summary

ZRS Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to deliver skilled, safe, and efficient property maintenance. You will work with the Maintenance Supervisor on repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC and appliances, and handle apartment turnovers within three to five business days.

You will contribute to a clean, safe property environment, assist with preventive maintenance, inventory tools, and support residents with clear communication. On-call hours are required.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record and proof of automobile insurance.
• EPA certification preferred; if required at a specific property, certification must be obtained within 90 days of start date.
• Maintenance knowledge in plumbing, electrical, HVAC and appliances.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and communicate clearly with residents.
• Willing to work on-call hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform independently technical maintenance repairs to plumbing, electrical, heating, and air conditioning, appliances, and other needs.
• Perform apartment turnover maintenance within 3–5 business days and complete turnover checklist.
• Maintain common areas: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash and window cleaning.
• Monitor exterior for roof, siding, shutters issues and assist preventive maintenance.
• Enter new tools/equipment into inventory and keep work area clean and safe.
