Job summary

ZRS Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to provide skilled, efficient, and professional service to residents. You will work with the Maintenance Supervisor and report to the Property Manager, handling maintenance across plumbing, electrical, HVAC and appliances.

Responsibilities include apartment turnover, common area upkeep, exterior monitoring, and contributing to a preventive maintenance program while ensuring safety and orderly workspaces. On-call availability is required.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and proof of automobile insurance.
• EPA certification preferred; if required, certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform independently technical maintenance repairs to plumbing, electrical, HVAC and appliances.
• Handle apartment turnover maintenance within 3–5 business days and complete turnover checklists.
• Maintain common areas (cleaning, trash removal, pressure washing, windows).
• Monitor exterior for roof, siding and shutter issues.
• Support a preventive maintenance program for the area of responsibility.
• Ensure safety and keep equipment and structures in good condition.
• Record new tools/equipment in inventory and keep work area clean and orderly.
