Job summary

Franklin Group in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the efficient operation and upkeep of the property buildings and grounds. You will diagnose problems and perform repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, pools and other amenities, while maintaining safety standards and a professional presence on site.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 years of related experience; HVAC certification preferred.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; 1–3 years related maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

Perform general maintenance such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliance repairs and related tasks.
Respond promptly to resident work orders and notify management upon completion or delays due to backordered supplies.
Maintain daily repair and upkeep of the community.
Perform routine maintenance in vacant units prior to new resident occupancy.
Care for and inventory all supplies and equipment owned by the community and/or company.
Maintain a clean work area and ensure proper tool upkeep.
Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents.
Maintain professional appearance and behavior at all times.
Ensure pools, fountains, hot tubs, and amenities remain clean and operable.
Operate safely according to OSHA standards and company policies.
