Job summary

Apartment Management Consultants is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep property buildings and grounds in good repair. You will perform daily maintenance, prep vacant units for occupancy, and support on-call response to service requests.

Requirements include using hand and power tools, HVAC, plumbing and electrical knowledge, and reliable communication. AMC offers full-time employment with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in property maintenance/handyman.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools and follow written/s verbal instructions.
• Effective communication and reliability on on-call schedules.

Responsibilities

• Repair and upkeep of the property and vacant units.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Ensure necessary tools are on hand.
• Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances.
• Secure maintenance shops at close of day.
• Be available for on-call response and snow/ice removal.
• Handle lock-outs due to evictions and 24-hour service requests.
