Job summary

Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain the efficient operation and upkeep of property buildings and grounds. Responsibilities include daily repair, occupancy readiness of vacant units, inventory management, and on-call maintenance support.

The role requires HVAC, plumbing, and electrical knowledge, handyman experience, and the ability to work with tools. On-site, full-time with comprehensive benefits as outlined.

Qualifications

• HVAC, plumbing and electrical knowledge required.
• Property maintenance/handyman experience.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools.
• Ability to follow written or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily repair and upkeep of property and vacant units.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Ensure necessary tools are on hand.
• Respond to on-call maintenance requests and 24-hour emergencies.
• Adhere to OSHA standards and company safety policies.
• Secure maintenance shops at end of shift.
• Assist with snow and ice removal when needed.
