Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Maintenance Technician to help maintain the operation and upkeep of our properties. You will perform daily repairs, prepare vacant units, manage tools and supplies, and ensure safety compliance under OSHA standards.

The role requires handyman experience, knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems, and the ability to follow instructions. On-call availability and professional appearance are essential for service success.

Qualifications

• Experience with HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Property maintenance/handyman experience.
• Ability to follow written or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the daily repair and upkeep of the property and the preparation of vacant units for occupancy.
• Maintain and keep an inventory of all supplies and equipment.
• Ensure necessary tools are on hand.
• Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents.
• Maintain a professional appearance and property uniform.
• Operate in compliance with OSHA standards and safety policies.
• Be available for on-call service requests and respond to incidents within 24 hours.
• Secure maintenance shops at close of day.
• Remove snow and ice as needed.
