Job summary

Vision Companies Property is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our apartment communities in top condition. This on-site role covers electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and general repairs across properties in Ohio, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for residents.

The ideal candidate has hands-on maintenance experience, strong communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong multitasking, time management, and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to pass drug test and background check.
• Extensive experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance repair; HVAC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily repair and upkeep of properties, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general maintenance.
• Inspect vacant units and prepare for new residents.
• Provide exceptional service to current, future, and past residents.
• Maintain supplies and inventory; report unusual circumstances.
• Maintain professional appearance and adhere to safety policies (OSHA).
• Follow management policies and participate in on-call rotations, weekends or holidays when required.
