Job summary

Hamilton Point Property Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to respond to maintenance requests, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure properties meet company standards. The role requires diagnosing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance issues, and coordinating with residents, vendors, and contractors.

You will inspect buildings, ensure safety and cleanliness, and assist with scheduling and budgeting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of previous experience in property management maintenance, other building maintenance or related trade is required.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• Ability to use a personal computer or other computer tracking systems used at the property.

Responsibilities

• Respond to maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance issues.
• Schedule and monitor preventative maintenance and apartment turns.
• Inspect buildings for safety and cleanliness.
• Assist with vendor scheduling, bids, and contractor oversight.
• Prepare and submit property invoices per guidelines.
• Provide on-call emergency maintenance as scheduled.
