Job summary

Apartment Management Professionals (AMP) is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the proper upkeep of apartment units and property facilities. You will prepare apartments for move-in, troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform repairs across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and other systems, while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

You will inspect units for make-ready status, address tenant requests promptly, and uphold AMP’s standards for quality and service.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in performing general maintenance duties.
• HVAC, EPA, and CPO certifications preferred.
• Strong ability to multitask, stay organized, and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation of apartments for move-in, including diagnosing, troubleshooting, and conducting repairs.
• Assist in organizing and performing general maintenance, preventative upkeep, and repairs in accordance with AMP's safety standards.
• Conduct thorough inspections of vacated apartments, document required renovations and re-inspect completed units prior to move-in.
• Regularly perform tasks to ensure units are restored to make-ready condition.
• Responsible for repairing HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, emergency systems, and related components.
• Perform routine inspections of community grounds and buildings to ensure safety standards are met and identify maintenance improvements.
• Respond promptly to tenant requests, delivering exceptional customer service.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including Fair Housing guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned
