Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Laurel, A Collective, in Charleston, SC. You will perform technical and mechanical work to keep buildings, grounds, and amenities clean, safe, and functional.

The role includes handling work orders, conducting make-readies for new move-ins, managing supply inventory, and assisting with safety and inspections while following established policies and OSHA requirements. On-site position with comprehensive benefits and a rotating on-call schedule.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certifications Type 1, II, or Universal are required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate on property.
• Experience with maintenance in a residential property is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose defects, perform repairs following safety standards and code requirements.
• Complete make-ready process for vacant units including inspections and punch lists.
• Track inventory, request materials, and coordinate with vendors/contractors.
