Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support high-rise properties in Charleston. You will perform technical and mechanical work to ensure buildings meet standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality, including make-readies, preventative maintenance, and on-site safety compliance.

The role requires flexibility to respond to resident requests, manage inventory, document work, and coordinate with vendors while upholding Greystar’s safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Performs routine and preventative maintenance to meet safety and code standards.
• Completes make-ready tasks to prepare vacant units for leasing and move-ins.
• Maintains inventory and documents usage for service parts and tools.
• Documents service requests accurately for tracking and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair defects; perform repairs per policies and safety rules.
• Complete make-readies, schedule tasks, and inspect work.
• Track materials, secure items, and notify supervisor when re-orders are needed.
• Record all service and maintenance documentation promptly.
• Assist with grounds and common area upkeep, cleaning, and painting where required.
• Adopt cost-control practices by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible.
• Adhere to safety policies and attend required trainings; report incidents promptly.
• Inspect contractor work to ensure quality and compliance.
• Assist with periodic property inspections and communicate needs to management.
