Job summary

Post Road Management in York, PA is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician to join our on-site team. This part-time, non-exempt role involves hands-on maintenance of resident spaces, solving problems, and handling routine repairs.

The successful candidate will perform carpentry, electrical, plumbing tasks, inspections, and assist with turnovers, with a rotating after-hours schedule. Valid driver’s license and ability to commute to York required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in property maintenance; HVAC experience preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• General carpentry including drywall, cabinet and countertop work.
• Maintenance and repairs of electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, painting and non-licensed HVAC.
• Assist with unit turnovers, repaints and re-carpeting.
• Conduct routine property and apartment inspections and report needs.
• Rotating after-hours emergency maintenance shifts.
• Perform preventive maintenance on property systems.
• Maintain professional relationships with residents, vendors, contractors and city officials.
• Track and complete work orders; keep stakeholders informed.
• Communicate with the property manager and respond to emails promptly.
