Job summary

LR Management is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician in Michigan to join our fast-growing team. Ideal candidates have apartment maintenance experience and a positive, self-motivated attitude.

You will perform general repairs and preventative maintenance, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and move-in/move-out inspections, while completing resident requests promptly and keeping common areas clean and safe.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of verifiable general maintenance experience.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Able to accommodate a flexible schedule, including weekends and on-call.
• High school diploma or GED.
• The ability to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Full maintenance of apartments prior to new residents moving in.
• Repairing and improving vacant and occupied apartments.
• Completing resident service requests in a timely manner.
• Carpentry, plumbing, and painting tasks.
• Performing preventative maintenance tasks.
• Move in/move out inspections.
• Ensure inventory of parts and keep shop organized.
• Assist in maintenance of common areas and exterior grounds.
• Adhere to fair housing policies.
