Job summary

LR Management Services in Michigan is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician with apartment maintenance experience to join our team. You will perform general repairs and preventative maintenance, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting and carpentry, while interacting with residents.

You must have 1–3 years of maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of verifiable general maintenance experience.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Applicants must be able to accommodate a flexible schedule, including weekends and on-call.
• The ability to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Full maintenance of apartments prior to new residents moving in.
• Repairing and improving vacant and occupied apartments.
• Completing resident service requests in a timely manner.
• Carpentry, plumbing, and painting tasks.
• Performing preventative maintenance tasks.
• Conducting move in/move out inspections.
• Ensuring an adequate inventory level for required parts.
• Ensuring service shop is clean and organized.
• Maintaining grounds and building exteriors, including snow removal.
• Adhering to fair housing policies.

The successful candidate will be a team player, have a positive attitude along with being self-motivated and self-directed.

Our maintenance staff are key members of our property team who interact with our residents as they carry out general repairs and preventative maintenance which includes HVAC repair, electrical, plumbing, painting, and carpentry.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Full maintenance of apartments prior to new residents moving in
