Job summary

LR Management in Michigan is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to perform general repairs and preventative maintenance in apartments. You will interact with residents while carrying out tasks such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting, and carpentry.

Requirements include 1–3 years of maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, the ability to lift 50 pounds, and a HS diploma or GED. Flexibility for weekends and on-call duties is required.

Qualifications

• Applicants must have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to accommodate a flexible schedule, including weekends and on-call.

Responsibilities

• Full maintenance of apartments prior to new residents moving in.
• Repairing and improving vacant and occupied apartments.
• Completing resident service requests in a timely manner.
• Carpentry, plumbing, and painting tasks as needed.
• Performing preventative maintenance tasks.
• Move in/out inspections.
• Manage inventory for parts and keep shop organized.
• Maintain grounds and building exteriors, including snow removal.
