Job summary

LR Management is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to perform full maintenance of apartments, including preventative tasks and inspections. Responsibilities include repairs in vacant and occupied units, responding to resident service requests, and maintaining common areas and exterior grounds.

A valid driver’s license and the ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, are required. 1–3 years in maintenance and a high school diploma are expected, with lifting up to 50

Responsibilities

• Perform full maintenance of apartments prior to new residents moving in.
• Repair and improve vacant and occupied apartments.
• Complete resident service requests in a timely manner.
• Perform carpentry, plumbing, and painting tasks as needed.
• Conduct preventative maintenance tasks.
• Carry out move-in/move-out inspections.
• Maintain inventory for parts and keep the shop organized.
• Assist in maintenance and cleaning of indoor common areas and exteriors.

LR Management is looking for a dependable and hard-working individual with previous apartment maintenance experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be a team player, have a positive attitude along with being self-motivated and self-directed.

Our maintenance staff are key members of our property team who interact with our residents as they carry out general repairs and preventative maintenance which includes HVAC repair, electrical, plumbing, painting, and carpentry.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Full maintenance of apartments prior to new residents moving in

• Completing resident service requests in a timely manner
• Accomplishing carpentry, plumbing, and painting tasks
• Performing preventative maintenance tasks
• Conducting move in/move out inspections
• Ensuring an adequate inventory level for required parts
• Ensuring service shop is clean and organized
• Assisting in the maintenance and cleanliness of the property's indoor common areas
• Maintaining well-groomed grounds and building exteriors including, but not limited, to trash pickup and snow removal
• Adhering to established policies related to fair housing
