LR Management Services in Michigan is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician with apartment maintenance experience. You will perform general repairs, preventative maintenance, and interact with residents while ensuring a well-kept property.

Responsibilities include maintaining apartments before new residents move in, fixing carpentry, plumbing and electrical tasks, and staying organized. A valid driver's license and ability to lift 50 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of verifiable maintenance experience required.
• A valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to accommodate a flexible schedule, including weekends and on-call.

Responsibilities

• Full maintenance of apartments prior to new residents moving in.
• Repairing and improving vacant and occupied apartments.
• Completing resident service requests in a timely manner.
• Carpentry, plumbing, and painting tasks as needed.
• Performing preventative maintenance tasks.
• Conducting move in/move out inspections.
• Maintaining inventory of required parts.
• Keeping the service shop clean and organized.
• Maintaining grounds and building exteriors including snow removal.
• Adhering to fair housing policies.

The successful candidate will be a team player, have a positive attitude along with being self-motivated and self-directed.
Our maintenance staff are key members of our property team who interact with our residents as they carry out general repairs and preventative maintenance which includes HVAC repair, electrical, plumbing, painting, and carpentry.
