Job summary

Kittle Property Group, Inc. is seeking a maintenance professional to support multi-family properties. You will conduct daily upkeep, basic repairs and preventative maintenance, while ensuring a clean and safe environment for residents.

Responsibilities include inspecting grounds, preparing units for occupancy, supervising contractors, and providing after-hours emergency support as needed. A high school diploma and 1 year of experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of maintenance experience.
• HVAC/EPA certification preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak and interpret basic instructions and information.
• Math skills: add, subtract, multiply, divide by 10s and 100s.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions with common sense.
• Beginner MS Outlook and MS Word skills.
• Annually attend fair housing class.

Responsibilities

• Monitor maintenance expenses and keep below budget.
• Inspect community grounds each morning.
• Perform turn (painting, cleaning, maintenance of all vacant units).
• Complete all maintenance requests promptly.
• Prepare vacant units for occupancy.
• Complete preventative maintenance activities.
• Maintain landscaping, bushes, trees and lawn.
• Snow removal of sidewalks.
• Maintain records of maintenance performed in all units and at the site.
• Maintain tools, equipment and replacement parts; provide personal tools.
• Sweep and maintain common areas.
• Supervise contractors working at the site.
• Provide emergency resident support after office hours.
• Maintain preventative maintenance records.
• Provide service for all common amenities.
• Other duties as assigned.
