Job summary

RPM Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to upkeep the property's interior and exterior. You will perform custodial work, assist in preparing vacant units, and support basic trades tasks for a well-maintained community.

This on-site role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, operate power washers and floor scrubbers, and respond to after-hours requests while following safety guidelines. Join a team-focused environment with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year of maintenance or related experience preferred.
• General knowledge in skilled trades including construction, repair, and maintenance.
• Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines; good organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties and maintain common areas.
• Complete grounds work and cleaning tasks as directed.
• Assist in the preparation of make-ready units (trash outs).
• Operate maintenance tools and equipment safely (power washer, floor scrubbers, etc.).
• Assist in pool maintenance and basic pool care.
• Respond to emergency on-call and after-hours maintenance requests.
• Complete work orders within 24–48 hours and update records.
• Perform repairs to maintain aesthetics and structural integrity.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and maintain shop organization.
