Job summary

John-M.-Corcoran- is seeking a trustworthy maintenance technician to care for one of our properties in Brockton, MA. You’ll handle daily maintenance requests, appliance upkeep, smoke detector installations, and cosmetic updates to keep the building looking its best.

Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm with an on-call rotation. The posted pay range is $29–$33 USD per hour, with comprehensive benefits and a $2,500 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• 6 months+ of trade experience or building maintenance.
• Working knowledge of equipment needed to repair the property, including electrical and mechanical systems.
• You love fixing things, making spaces more pleasing, and stay service‑miented under pressure.
• You identify and solve safety concerns.
• Specialized trade experience in plumbing, electrical, roofing, or HVAC is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily maintenance requests professionally and expediently.
• Remain ready for emergency maintenance needs, floods, and back-to-back move-ins.
• Make repairs to doors, locks, tiles, and handrails.
• Monitor and coordinate with outside contractors and suppliers.
• Maintain paperwork and invoices related to your work.
