Job summary

Hyder Property Management Professionals seeks a thorough Maintenance Technician to preserve the condition and functionality of a 144-unit property. You will perform varied tasks from painting to HVAC, follow safety guidelines, and work autonomously to maintain buildings and common areas.

Role includes developing maintenance plans, inspecting facilities, scheduling repairs, and staying compliant with safety policies while coordinating with the supervisor on budgets and emergencies.

Qualifications

• Must speak/read/write English.
• Must follow the Injury and Illness Prevention Plan and read safety labels.
• Must be able to follow and give technical instructions.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs and ladders, and move heavy objects.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the good condition and functionality of a property with tasks including painting, plumbing, HVAC, and landscaping.
• Develop and support a preventive maintenance plan for the property and supervise scheduled repairs.
• Respond to work orders, plan weekly tasks, and coordinate with the site manager to complete work within deadlines.
• Maintain tools, equipment, inventory, and safety compliance; adhere to company safety policies.
