Job summary

Hyder-Property-Management-Professionals is seeking a Maintenance II to service 150 units, performing repairs and preventive maintenance on building systems and grounds, including light troubleshooting of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and occasional janitorial or lawn work.

The role requires strong physical stamina, ability to lift 50 lbs, and adherence to safety policies; English fluency is required to read instructions, report emergencies, and follow written procedures.

Qualifications

• Must speak/read/write English to understand safety plans and follow written instructions.
• Must be able to install/repair items such as water heaters, furnaces, disposals, stoves, AC units.
• Must report emergencies to supervision in English.

Responsibilities

• Implement Safety program and company policies.
• Promptly report emergencies at the complex within working hours.
• Conduct daily property walks and weekly night checks for lighting; perform semi-annual unit inspections.
• Complete finished work orders and document transactions for the resident manager.
• Maintain resident relations and uphold housing assignment procedures.
• Maintain good relations with local authorities, vendors, and staff.
• Be available to assist in building and grounds inspections as needed.
• Keep maintenance records and supplies documentation; fill in for higher roles when needed.
