Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Porter to support maintenance operations at our Columbia, SC properties. The role includes daily on-site maintenance, make-ready tasks, and responsive resident support to uphold property standards.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, and knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements. This is an on-site, full-time position with safety-focused responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with carrying out maintenance processes including corrective, preventive, routine, and cosmetic tasks.
• Perform make-ready work and ensure units and common areas meet property standards.
• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders in a timely manner.
• Maintain daily upkeep of exterior grounds, common areas, and interiors.
• Follow safety policies and OSHA guidelines and participate in inspections as needed.
