Job summary

PeopleReady of Lynchburg, VA is hiring Property Maintenance Technicians to perform repairs and preventative maintenance across the property. The role involves addressing plumbing, electrical, and HVAC issues, refreshing units with new appliances, carpeting, and lighting, and preparing and painting walls.

You will also record maintenance activities, determine upgrade schedules, restore door locks, and perform minor construction or carpentry tasks. Shift: 1st Shift (Day).

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of general maintenance work experience preferred
• Own tools of the trade and be able to bring them to the jobsite
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Background check required
• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady

Responsibilities

• Solve maintenance issues including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC
• Refresh units by installing new appliances, carpeting, and lighting
• Prepare and paint walls
• Record maintenance activities and determine schedule for upgrades
