Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician for our La Quinta, CA properties. The role focuses on ensuring buildings, grounds, and common areas meet safety and cleanliness standards, with emphasis on performing routine and preventative maintenance.

You will complete work orders, assist in make-ready preparations for new leases, manage inventory, and participate in safety and quality control procedures while supporting cost-effective operations.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of property maintenance experience required.
• Prior painting and maintenance experience is required.
• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling are required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance across the property.
• Performs make-ready tasks for vacant apartments and prepares units for leasing.
• Manages materials, inventory, and re-orders as needed with supervisor notification.
• Documents all service work promptly and accurately for tracking.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities including cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
