Job summary

Blanton Turner is seeking a Maintenance Tech for a temporary assignment at a luxury/mid-rise property in Seattle. The role involves general maintenance, unit turns, and after-hours availability, with a strong emphasis on safety and resident service.

Qualifications

• 2+ years general maintenance experience or equivalent training.
• Familiarity with Washington State and Seattle landlord-tenant laws helpful.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs of building, including plumbing, carpentry, painting, drywall, minor appliance repair and cleaning.
• Perform unit turns including servicing appliances, plumbing and electrical, replace old or faulty parts, re-key locks, replace burnt out light bulbs and interior painting.
• Address and follow up as necessary on all residents’ work order requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain positive and professional relationships with vendors and suppliers and work with them to procure best product and pricing for the properties.
• Self-driven with prior experience in maintenance in property management.
• Maintain professionalism and communicate effectively with residents, the Property Manager, office staff, and vendors.
• Complete all work in a timely and professional manner.
• Must be able to work flexible hours and respond to after-hours requests.
