Blanton Turner is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a temporary role in the Seattle area. The position supports luxury/mid-rise properties and offers a 40-hour work week, standard hours, and after-hours availability.

The role emphasizes independence, professional communication, and quality work on building systems and units. Wage ranges from $33 to $37 per hour DOE, with bonuses and a strong benefits package including 401(k) matching and Seattle sick pay.

Qualifications

• 2+ years general maintenance experience or equivalent training.
• Familiarity with Washington State and city of Seattle Landlord-Tenant Laws helpful.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs of building, including plumbing, carpentry, painting, drywall, appliance repair and cleaning.
• Perform unit turns: servicing appliances, plumbing and electrical, replace faulty parts, re-key locks, replace bulbs and interior painting.
• Address and follow up on residents’ work orders in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain professional relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure best product and pricing.
• Work independently and with flexibility to respond to after-hours requests.
