Job summary

Peak Living in Minnesota seeks a qualified Maintenance Supervisor to maintain property quality, supervise move-ins, and deliver excellent resident service. The role adapts to community needs, with hours potentially including weekends and after-hours emergencies.

Responsibilities include staffing, scheduling, safety oversight, preventive maintenance for pools, parking lots, exteriors, and recommending capital improvements. A valid driver’s license and English communication are required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience in apartment settings.
• Strong leadership and customer service skills.
• HVAC knowledge with CFC certification within 90 days.
• 1 year as Maintenance Supervisor or 3 years as Maintenance Technician.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Must communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist Community Manager in staffing decisions and promotions.
• Teach skills to staff.
• Schedule work.
• Maintain a safe working environment.
• Ensure common areas are safe, repaired and clean.
• Perform preventive maintenance for pools, parking lots, exteriors, etc.
• Make Capital improvement recommendations.
• Respond to service requests within 24 hours.
• Visit competing properties and inspect maintenance quality.
• Order parts as needed to repair community.
• Educate staff on safety and OSHA guidelines and Peak Living safety bulletin.
