Job summary

Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the property maintenance team. You will oversee upkeep and repair of buildings and grounds, schedule daily tasks, and assist in staffing decisions for service, custodial, and grounds personnel.

Responsibilities include ensuring safety, managing vendor work and inventory, and maintaining equipment. This full-time role offers competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
• Self-motivated with attention to detail.
• Ability to operate various hand tools including power tools.
• Ability to maintain positive relationships with internal and external contacts.
• Property maintenance/handyman experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance team and provide maintenance for the property, including upkeep and repair of buildings and grounds.
• Perform and schedule daily maintenance tasks, including preparing vacant units for occupancy and preventative maintenance.
• Assist with interviewing, screening, and recommending for potential service, housekeeping/custodial, or grounds personnel in conjunction with the manager.
• Assist in training of all service, housekeeping/custodial, or grounds personnel.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas; ensure safety and OSHA compliance.
• Schedule and supervise vendor work; manage inventory, orders, and delivery of supplies for service, custodial and grounds teams.
• Be on-call to handle service requests and respond to emergencies.
