Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance team and ensure upkeep of buildings and grounds. The role includes scheduling daily tasks, training staff, coordinating with vendors, and enforcing safety policies.

Ideal candidates have HVAC, plumbing, and electrical knowledge, strong attention to detail, and supervisory experience. Full-time position with benefits and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
• Self-motivated with attention to detail.
• Ability to operate various hand tools including power tools.
• Ability to maintain positive relationships with internal and external contacts.
• Property maintenance/handyman experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform and schedule daily maintenance tasks including preparing vacant units for occupancy and preventative maintenance.
• Assist with interviewing, screening, and making recommendations for maintenance staff in conjunction with the manager.
• Assist in the training of all service, housekeeping/custodial, or grounds personnel.
• Clean and maintain work areas, tools, and equipment.
• Be responsible for inventory, ordering, and delivery of supplies for service teams.
• Ensure OSHA standards and company safety policies are followed.
• Handle lock-outs due to evictions and respond to service requests 24/7 as needed.
• Coordinate with vendors for work and scheduling.
• Maintain MSDS sheets and replacement logs.
