Job summary

NEW URBAN RESIDENTIAL, LLC in Concord, NC is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance staff, supervise unit turnover, and manage repairs, renovations, and on-call emergencies.

You will ensure health and safety procedures, inspect the property, coordinate with vendors, train staff, and maintain logs and property management software. Travel between communities may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years in a supervisory role.
• Ability to use a computer daily.
• Able to lift 25–50 lbs safely.
• Physically able to climb multiple flights of stairs.
• Frequent stooping and bending.
• Frequent kneeling.
• Crouching as needed.
• Reaching with arms in all directions.
• Handling and gripping tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee completion of maintenance requests within 24 hours when possible.
• Stay on-call 24 hours per day per schedule.
• Inspect premises regularly for HVAC, roofs, lighting, and safety hazards.
• Supervise pools, grounds, and recreation areas daily.
• Inspect vacant apartments to ensure move-in readiness (5+ per week).
• Maintain Freon and pool logs per regulations.
• Keep MSDS notebook up to date.
• Update property management software daily.
• Travel to other properties if required.
