Job summary

Harbor Group Management is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor for our Durham, NC community. Lead the maintenance team, coordinate with vendors, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure safety, cleanliness, and appearance while managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities include supervising technicians, diagnosing plumbing/HVAC/electrical issues, scheduling make-readies, overseeing inventory, and delivering excellent customer service to residents. On-call may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years' experience in multifamily property maintenance, including turnover.
• At least one year of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Expertise in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, drywall, or appliance repair.
• Proficiency with MS Office and property management software; strong organization.
• Customer-service oriented with ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and guide the maintenance team to complete tasks on time.
• Diagnose and repair plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, and appliance issues.
• Respond to resident service requests and close work orders per standards.
• Oversee make-ready process with inspections, vendor scheduling, and quality checks.
• Maintain safe, clean, and appealing common areas and grounds.
