AION is seeking an Assistant Service Director to oversee maintenance and repair at a Columbus apartment community. You will manage daily operations, coordinate turns, and ensure curb appeal and safety, while maintaining records and supervising a maintenance team.

You will respond to service requests, train staff, and assist with budgeting and capital improvements, including coordination of contracted services and safety programs.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CFC Certification Universal.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• 4+ years maintenance and repair experience for apartment communities.
• 2+ years supervisory experience.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must be available 24/7 for emergencies.
• Ability to walk grounds/apartments, ascend stairs, lift 60 lbs., climb ladders.

Responsabilidades

• Direct and oversee all maintenance of the community.
• Schedule and perform preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Maintain records for services, work orders, and contracts.
• Uphold curb appeal and safety standards on property.
• Coordinate apartment turns and renovations.
• Monitor expenses and recommend cost-saving strategies.
• Manage inventory and ensure adequate maintenance materials.
• Advise on capital improvements and budget needs.
• Coordinate contracted services and track invoices.
• Address safety concerns and conduct weekly safety meetings.
• Handle after-hours emergency requests and provide staff coverage.
