Job summary

Post Road Management is seeking a hands-on Property Maintenance Technician to help keep our residential communities well-maintained and safe. You will handle carpentry, repairs, plumbing, electrical tasks within licensed limits and respond to work orders with prompt, professional communication.

This role requires practical experience in home remodeling, painting, drywall, and preventive maintenance. You’ll work alongside the property manager, manage vendor relations, and contribute to resident

Qualifications

• Experience in residential construction and remodeling.
• Proficient in carpentry, painting, drywall, and time management.
• Ability to provide accurate quotes and complete work on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Carpentry & Repairs: wallboard repair, countertop/cabinet replacement, finish carpentry, window and door repairs, tile repair; assist with vinyl floor, cove and base installation.
• General Maintenance: handle minor electrical, plumbing, appliance, and heating/air issues within licensed scope; perform painting and other repairs.
• Property Operations: assist with work orders, apartment turnovers, inspections; respond to emergency maintenance calls including on-call shifts.
• Preventive Maintenance: execute assigned tasks to ensure safety and functionality.
• Communication & Collaboration: coordinate with the property manager; communicate clearly with residents, vendors, contractors, inspectors, and staff.
