Job summary

Prospera Community Housing is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform a broad range of mid-level maintenance tasks across multiple properties. The role supports the organization by troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining building systems to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 2 years of property maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, and OSHA 10 certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in property maintenance or a related field.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform intermediate maintenance tasks, including but not limited to basic electrical and plumbing repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems with limited supervision.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Complete unit make-readies, ensuring vacant units are fully prepared for leasing.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours maintenance emergencies.
