Job summary

Gallery Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service and maintain residential properties, indoors and outdoors. The role involves addressing resident requests, performing routine upkeep, and coordinating make-ready tasks to ready units for new move-ins.

You will adhere to safety standards, use hand and power tools, and complete required paperwork. A valid driver’s license and EPA certifications are required by state and local jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Experience with safe use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, user moved aids, mechanical equipment, and measuring devices.
• High school diploma or GED is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders generated from resident requests for service within 24 to 48 hours, and performs routine upkeep.
• Completes the “make-ready” process to prepare vacant apartment homes for leasing and new move-ins, including pre-move-out inspections and coordinating vendors.
• Maintains inventory by tracking materials, returning unused items, and notifying supervisor when re-ordering is needed.
• Documents and files service requests to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
