Job summary

Avenue5 Residential in Glendale, AZ is seeking a Maintenance Technician to address apartment and property upkeep, including electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry and HVAC, while ensuring high standards of curb appeal and resident satisfaction.

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year in property management or related field, plus general maintenance and carpentry skills. Strong customer service and safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year of experience in property management or related field.
• Possess general maintenance and general carpentry skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC and grounds maintenance as directed.
• Carry out wallboard repair, cabinet replacement, finish carpentry and door/lock repair.
• Proceed with preventative maintenance including painting, lighting, sprinklers and elevators.
• Maintain work orders and ensure timely completion to satisfaction.
• Inspect grounds and common areas for safety and cleanliness.
• Assist with property emergencies (weather, fires, floods).
• Communicate maintenance issues to leadership.
• Promote safety and risk management per rules and regs.
