Job summary

Avenue5 Residential in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform apartment and property maintenance, ensuring high customer service and curb appeal. You will handle electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and grounds tasks under supervision, with a focus on safety and resident satisfaction.

The role requires a high school diploma, at least one year of property management experience, and reliable driving with a valid license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least one year of experience in the property management industry or related field.
• Possess general maintenance and general carpentry skills.

Responsibilities

• Address an array of apartment and property maintenance duties as specified by the maintenance supervisor and/or property manager.
• Perform repairs to electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, and grounds maintenance per state guidelines.
• Perform carpentry tasks such as wallboard repair, countertop/cabinet replacement, finish carpentry, window/glass repair, door/lock repair, and ceramic tile repair.
• Conduct preventative maintenance including siding, painting, lighting, sprinkler, pool, elevator and more.
• Maintain work order system and ensure orders are completed to company standards and resident satisfaction.
• Inspect property grounds, buildings, and amenities to maintain safety and cleanliness and identify issues.
