Job summary

Post Road Management in Reading, PA is seeking a hands-on Property Maintenance Technician to keep our residential properties in top condition. You will perform carpentry, plumbing, electrical basics, painting and general repairs while coordinating with the property manager.

This full-time role requires reliable tools, a valid driver's license, strong problem-solving and time-management skills. We offer benefits including health coverage, PTO, 401(k), referral incentives, and rent discounts.

Qualifications

Experience in residential construction, home/apartment remodeling, and basic plumbing and electrical systems.
Experience in carpentry, painting, drywall, and time management.

Responsibilities

Carpentry & repairs: wallboard repair, countertop/cabinet replacement, finish carpentry, window/door repairs, tile repair.
Assist with vinyl floor, cove, and wall base installation.
General maintenance: handle minor electrical, plumbing, appliance, and heating/air issues; perform painting and other repairs as needed.
Property operations: support daily work orders, turnovers, and inspections; respond to emergency maintenance calls and on-call shifts as required.
Preventive maintenance: perform assigned tasks to ensure safety and functionality.
Communication & collaboration: coordinate with property manager, residents, vendors, contractors, inspectors, and staff.
