Job summary

Mission Rock Residential in Rio Rancho, NM is seeking a Service Manager (Maintenance) to lead day-to-day maintenance operations and uphold property standards and safety.

You will schedule and supervise maintenance tasks, train staff, diagnose issues across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliances, and ensure timely repairs.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with federal fair housing laws and local housing provisions.
• Ability to work within budgetary guidelines.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repairs.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, monitor, and perform preventative maintenance at the property.
• Coordinate day-to-day maintenance operations of the property.
• Direct and supervise daily maintenance team activities.
• Train and coach maintenance team members.
• Diagnose problems and complete repairs for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, and appliances.
• Perform property inspections daily and maintain cleanliness in partnership with the team.
• Manage vendor/contractor relationships and quality control.
• Complete unit turns, painting, drywall, and wear-and-tear items.
• Respond to after-hours on-call emergencies on a rotation basis.
