Job summary

Mission Rock Residential in Georgetown, TX is seeking a Service Manager (Maintenance) to oversee daily maintenance operations and ensure property standards and legal compliance. You will lead the maintenance team, coordinate preventive work, and ensure high-quality repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and more.

You will also manage vendor relationships, perform daily property inspections, and participate in on-call emergency responses, contributing to a safe and well-maintained living

Qualifications

• Comprehension of federal fair housing laws and any applicable local housing provisions.
• Ability to comprehend and work within budgetary guidelines.
• Knowledge of general property repairs, which may include HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywalling, exterior structural, and appliances.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, monitor, and/or perform preventative maintenance at assigned property
• Coordinate day-to-day maintenance operations of the property
• Direct and supervise daily activities of the maintenance team, such as planning and preparing work schedules, assigning tasks, delegating work, monitoring progress and workflow, reviewing work for timeliness and accuracy
• Train and coach all maintenance team members
• Participate in diagnosing problems, completing repairs, and general maintenance for the property, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywall, exterior structure, and appliances
• Perform property inspections daily and maintain cleanliness of the property in partnership with your team
• Manage vendor/contractor relationships including obtaining and completing quality control
• Complete property unit turns, painting, drywall, and normal wear and tear items
• Respond to after hours on-call emergencies on a rotation basis
• Train and coach all maintenance team members
