Westminster Management in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Property Maintenance Manager to lead daily maintenance tasks, inspections, and team training across our communities. You’ll manage service requests, preventive maintenance, and vendor relationships to keep properties safe and well-maintained.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in multifamily property management or 5+ years in property management.
• Knowledge of maintenance practices, safety protocols, and fair housing regulations.
• Experience leading teams and managing vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance team to deliver top-notch service.
• Oversee service requests, preventive maintenance, and repairs.
• Maintain effective maintenance programs to protect and sustain the property.
• Keep inventory of equipment, tools, and supplies.
• Model professionalism by following all policies and procedures.
• Ensure a safe, sanitary living environment for residents and staff.
• Communicate with staff, residents, and leadership to keep the community well-maintained.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses and manage vendor contracts to optimize service delivery.
• Prepare maintenance reports, inventory updates, and team evaluations.
• Train, mentor, and inspire maintenance staff to reach new heights.
