Job summary

Westminster Management is seeking a Property Maintenance Manager to lead and oversee daily maintenance, inspections, and training for a multifamily community. You will guide a maintenance team, handle service requests, and ensure operations run smoothly in all weather.

The role emphasizes safety, strong communication with staff and residents, budget awareness, vendor management, and a hands-on approach to maintaining high standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in multifamily property management or 5+ years in property management.
• In-depth knowledge of maintenance practices, safety protocols, and fair housing regulations.
• Leadership experience, with a track record of managing teams.
• Experience with property management software (Yardi) and PO systems; Microsoft Office; Teams and Zoom.
• On-call and extended hours availability.
• A valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a dynamic maintenance team to deliver top-notch service.
• Oversee all community maintenance work, including service requests and repairs.
• Maintain effective maintenance programs to protect and maintain the property.
• Keep inventory of equipment, tools, and supplies.
• Serve as a role model and ensure policies and procedures are followed.
• Maintain a safe, sanitary, and comfortable living environment for residents and staff.
• Communicate effectively with staff, residents, and leadership.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses and manage vendor contracts to optimize service delivery.
• Prepare maintenance reports, inventory updates, and team evaluations.
• Train, mentor, and inspire maintenance staff.
